The path to Lower Falls at Letchworth State Park can get you very dirty. The mist spraying from the falls is so intense at times it can soak the surrounding shale into a muddy clay. It makes this beautiful location risky for the frequent Letchworth Park wedding ceremonies. On this overcast day I was able to shoot this excellent portrait of the falls. A slow shutter speed was used to soften the water, which enhances the contrast with the surrounding, rough rock.
