With the leaves barely on the trees, I relied on the late afternoon sun to add the necessary color to this scene. It was a chilly day and the bottom half of the photo shows it with its neutral shadows. The sun is just around the bend though. A composite of 3 images, this High-Dynamic-Range image enabled me to capture both the bright sunny spots and the foreground shadows while maintaining the detail.
