Some sections of the Gorge Trail at Letchworth State Park run through dense forest. The moss-covered stone work of the Civilian Conservation Corps seems to do a fine job of holding it back. When the foliage hits peack, it covers the trails with a thick carpet of bright red, orange and yellow.
